WHAT IS A HOME SOLAR
PV SYSTEM?
A home solar photovoltaic (PV) system is designed to absorb and convert sunlight into electricity. PV systems will be placed on your rooftop to generate your own electricity.
Through the Net Energy Metering (NEM RAKYAT) 3.0 Programme, you will be eligible to participate in this programme to generate your own power, and export surplus energy to the grid, while receiving incentives in return.

Yes. Considering the life expectancy of the product to be 25 years, you will experience results as soon as you have your systems installed. With time, you are on your way to save up to 90% of your electricity bill.
The benefits of having Solar PV System in your home are significant, including net metering that allows you to sell back the excess energy produced (if any), as this is a privilege under the NEM3.0 program. And of course, you can feel good that you’re doing your part for the environment, knowing that you are minimising your carbon footprint by using green energy.
Utility companies charge consumers a tiered rate for electricity (Tariff A for Residential homes). A homeowner’s Solar PV System helps offset the price charged for electricity, by consuming power generated by the solar panels first, and depending on consumption level, excess power generated from solar panels will be exported to the grid as a credit to your electricity bill or if there is no excess, consume normal electricity from the grid.
The system can be delivered in 3 months. The installation itself takes only 2-3 days.
We will help conduct a site study for you. Roof reinforcement or replacement will be suggested based on your needs.
Power production (kWh) will depend on the system capacity (kWp) built for your home. This information will be churned out for you during proposal stage. If you are applying for the NEM3.0 RAKYAT programme, then the maximum capacity limitation set based on this programme will apply. However, if you are not applying for the NEM 3.0 RAKYAT programme which is the Self Consumption (SELCO) concept, then we can build a bigger system capacity for your home. You can track your consumption and generation of power via the monitoring system which is provided and accessible via a Mobile App. We will guide you to use this upon commissioning/handover of the Home Solar PV System.
